HUNDREDS are expected to attend the funeral of popular teenager Kai Hannis as arrangements are made for a special service.
Funeral directors Philip Ford and Sons are making special arrangements for the service at Gloucester Crematorium on Tuesday, December 8, where family, friends and colleagues will pay their respects to the much-loved youngster.
A collection will be held at the funeral service in aid of St James City Farm in Gloucester where Kai used to work.
The service is open to the public and starts at 3.30pm.
Friends of Kai gathered on Selsley Common on Sunday where they let off fireworks in his memory.
A collection was held to raise money to restore Kai's beloved MK2 Volkswagen Golf which has been decorated with floral tributes after it was found in the Ark House car park in Parliament Street.
They are hoping to finish the modifications which Kai was making to the car in time for the summer show season so that they can take it around the country in his memory.
Kai, 18, passed away last Monday.
He worked at Lye Farm in Uley and was a former pupil at Maidenhill School in Stonehouse.
