THE A46 between Stroud and Painswick has been re-opened after a fatal crash this morning.
Two cars were involved in the crash near Pincot Lane, Pitchcombe, at around 6.30am.
A female driver was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics shortly before 7am.
The second driver sustained a knee injury.
The road was blocked off by police in both directions from the Beeches Green/ Stratford Road roundabout near Tesco.
It was re-opened at around 12.30pm.
