A WELL-KNOWN company in Stroud supplied the snow for the seventh Star Wars film.
Snow Business, which is based in Ebley, is a world leader in snow and winter effects and provided the snow in the highly anticipated new movie.
The innovative company has over 200 different types of snow at its Snow Mill including a wide range of ash, soot and burnt effects.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is to be released in cinemas today with the first of 20 viewings at Stroud's VUE cinema 11.45am.

Star Wars VII has also proven to have had an impact on the tourism in the region. Confirmation that it was partly shot in the Forest of Dean has sparked an interest in holidaymakers heading for the area.
Holiday letting specialist, holidaycottages.co.uk reports increases of 145 percent in bookings to the area for 2015 since the announcement and in the lead up to the film’s release.
