STAFF were bowled over yesterday when TV star Andrew Lincoln came to enjoy a game of ten-pin bowling in Stroud.
The actor, best known for playing Rick Grimes in the horror drama series The Walking Dead, came to the popular Stroud Bowl in Merrywalks with friends and colleagues.
A post on Stroud Bowl's Facebook page read: "So Andrew Lincoln from the Walking Dead decided to pop in for a game this afternoon.
"Top bloke and even had his own bowling ball.
"He as also very kindly selected the two patterns for the Gloucestershire Tenpin Bowling Association trials coming up shortly - Taj Mahal and Tokyo will be the two patterns we will be playing on."
Afterwards, Lincoln took time to pose with excited fans at the centre.
