IMAGES have been released of a man stealing three English springer spaniels from a home in Chalford yesterday.
The dogs, three females aged seven months, aged six and seven years-old, were allegedly taken by someone in a Vauxhall Signum at around 11.30am.
A man wearing a blue jacket with the hood up can be seen carrying a white dog from the building and then driving away in a car.
The three dogs called Maddie, Brandy and Harley have all been microchipped and are white and brown coloured.
A silver vehicle parked outside the property at 9am and left at 11.30am. The photos taken from CCTV footage were posted on social media.
Stroud District Council's animal welfare service has issued an urgent appeal for help. Since then the post has been shared hundreds of times.
A Facebook group called STOLEN Maddie Brandy and Harley has also been launched to try and track down the three dogs.
Police said someone forced entry into the property and that they want to speak to the driver of a silver Vauxhall Astra seen in the area at the time.
Anyone with information can call police on 101, quoting incident 181 of January 27.
