A MAN was taken to hospital with a fractured collar bone after crashing his car into two vehicles in Thrupp on Tuesday morning.
The fire service attended at around 5.30am to cut the man free from his Ford Fiesta, which had crashed into two parked cars on the A419 London Road, near the Stroud Brewery.
Police closed the main road into Stroud at 5.35am while paramedics provided treatment at the scene.
Two fire engines attended from Stroud station.
The closure near the junction with Middle Road caused long delays around rush hour.

The vehicles were recovered and traffic began moving freely again at 9.30am.
Minchinhampton Common, Brimscombe Hill, Butterrow Hill and Rodborough Common were also affected.
There were also delays to the Stagecoach West services 64 and 502.
The other cars involved were a Peugeot 407 and a VW Golf.
