Heatwave to make Stroud hotter than Ibiza with highs of 23C
A HEATWAVE is on its way to Stroud, with temperatures set to reach a scorching 23C by Sunday.
Our weather woes appear to be over – at least for the time being – as temperatures steadily climb well into next week.
Highs of 18C tomorrow (Thursday) will seem tepid by the weekend as highs of 19C on Friday, 21C on Saturday and 23C on Sunday make Stroud and the surrounding area hotter than Ibiza and Corfu.
Temperatures are then set to rise to 23C on Monday and 21C on Tuesday before dropping slightly into the week.
Despite this there will be some heavy rain on Sunday, particularly in the morning and late in the evening.
