Dear Sir,

I was at the EU debate in the Subscription Rooms in Stroud which was somewhat entertaining.

There were lots of people putting their point of view over.

Unfortunately I didn't manage to get mine across, so I would like to take this opportunity to enlighten some of the people who may not know that after five years of refugees living in Germany, for example, they can claim a permanent visa which entitles them to travel anywhere in the EU, which, of course, the UK is part of at the moment.

The point is we should take control of our borders and have a points system in place so we can control the number of migrants and take the people with the qualifications we require.

I am not a xenophobe, which I have been accused of. I would simply like Britain to have a say in what we think is important to us as a country. And having control of our country is essential for the future well-being of our security and prosperity as a nation.
