CONSERVATIVE district councillor and Leave campaigner Debbie Young’s view:
"Vote Remain, fought a great campaign locally, thanks to Neil, Labour and the Greens working together but I am delighted that Vote Leave have won nationally.
"I know it has been an emotional campaign for both sides but now we need to accept the vote and national politicians need to negotiate how this will happen.
"I have never taken the vote personally and hope we can all work together on the council in the interests of all our voters."
