STONEHOUSE Horticultural Show and Summer Jolly is set to return with a fun-filled schedule for all the family.

This year's show and jolly will be held at Stonehouse Community Centre and on Laburnum playing field on Sunday, August 14.

The Horticultural Show schedule includes classes for houseplants and cut flowers, fruit and vegetables, flower arrangements, photography, home-made wine, handicrafts and baking and preserves.

There will also be classes for children up to Year 6 age.

Amongst the entertainments at the Summer Jolly will be a dog agility class, fairground games and a range of stalls.

The Stonehouse Summer Jolly will be held on the playing field starting at 12pm and the Horticultural Show will open to the public at 1pm at the community centre.

Organised by the Stonehouse Community Partnership, the event will raise money for the Gloucestershire Gateway Trust, which supports job creation by working with businesses and social entrepreneurs in the area.

The full list of classes and how to enter is available from Stonehouse Town Council or ask at Stonehouse Post Office.
