1. Crazy Golf at the Goods Shed in Stroud

CRAZY Golf at the Goods Shed is back in Stroud for the summer holidays after a hugely successful first year.

Each of the 18 holes are designed by artists, designers or a team of creative problem solvers.

The Goods Shed is open 10am - 4pm daily until Sunday, September 4.

Entry costs £3 for adults £2 for children under 15-years-old.

2. Crown and Sceptre seven-years-old party - 4pm to 7pm Saturday

To Celebrate The Crown and Sceptre opening for 2557 days every day non stop, the pub is holding a party.

There will be live entertainment from the Tiger 110'sa, a Late Licence and a few small fireworks later on too.

3. Woolpack Festival - The Woolpack Festival is back again, this time running for the whole weekend.

Live music, food, outside bars, dancing and more.

With Friday evening focusing of all sorts of food, Saturday live music all day, and a fundraising vintage and records sale on Sunday.

Free shuttle bus service running from the entrance of Parliament Street car park (opposite the police station) at the top of Stroud on the Saturday from 12noon-10pm

4. WOMAD the festival of discovery featuring music, art, dance, discussion, activity, food and drink from fifty nations spanning six continents, returns to Malmesbury's Charlton Park this weekend.

All of the music and entertainment is set to take place in Wiltshire’s Charlton Park from 28-31 July.

5. Robin Hood and his Merry Men - outdoor production - Sunday, 7pm

Robin Hood and his Merry Men take on the infamous Sheriff of Nottingham in a brand new outdoor production, which tours to Stroud on Sunday.

This latest adaptation from the Jenny Wren theatre company is to be staged outside the Museum in the Park at 7pm. The grounds will be open at 6pm for picnics.

Ice creams, teas and coffees will be available in the museum.

6. Saturday football is back - Forest Green host Newport County on Saturday, just one week before they kick-off the new National League season.

The match will be the last chance to watch Mark Cooper’s exciting team at home before the National League campaign kicks off a week later, and will also see the return of FGR fan favourite Jon Parkin to the New Lawn.

7. Stroud Calling presents Juke Joint

Saturday 8.30pm to 1am at The Golden Fleece.

All vinyl 45's, all styles, all welcome. Will Mendoza's on the decks with back up from 'Chalford's finest' Tom (DJ Heavy T) Lowrie.

8. Book and bric-a-brac sale

Grab a bargain at All Pulling Together in Park Parade, Stonehouse at a bric-a-brac and book sale on Saturday, 10am to 2pm.

All funds go to Help a Hedgehog Hospital.
