HOW would you rate the councillors in your area?
Do your parish, district or county councillor stand out against the rest in their efforts to better the community?
Well now is your chance to thank them for their service and nominate them for the C’llr Achievement Awards.
The awards, organsied by the Local Government Information Unit, celebrate the amazing work being done by councillors across the country.
Nominations are now open and run until Monday August 22.

This year's award categories include County Councillor of the Year, District Councillor of the Year and Parish Councillor of the Year.
There are also honours for Leader of the Year, Lifetime Achievement and Young Councillor of the Year.
If you think the councillor in your ward deserves credit for the work they do, put forward their name now.
