A 42-YEAR-OLD Stroud man is alleged to have assaulted and tried to rob another man in the town earlier this month.
Cheltenham magistrates have committed Robert George Harrison of Mathews Way, Paganhill, Stroud to Gloucester Crown Court for a trial on September 9.
Harrison is alleged to have assaulted Joshua Osborn and attempted to rob him of his mobile phone, wallet, £50 in cash and a bag on August 6.
He has been remanded in custody until his trial.
