THE family of a man who has been missing from Quedgeley for nearly three weeks are growing increasingly concerned for him.

They say that Scot Holder’s behaviour is out of character and police are urging the public to continue to be on the lookout for him particularly in Stroud, Gloucester and Cheltenham.

The 39-year-old was last seen 16 days ago near his home in Quedgeley at around 4am on Thursday, September 1 after being dropped off from work.

Police received notice of a possible sighting of Scot later in Brookthorpe on Sunday, September 4.

Members of the public reported seeing a man fitting his description, wearing a long black jacket and running between traffic near Fagin's restaurant in Stroud Road just after 7.30am.

There was another sighting of someone thought to be Scot between 9.45am and 10.10am on the same day.

He was reportedly seen sitting on a kerb in Stroud near the mini-roundabout at the Painswick Road and Stratford Road junction.

He was carrying a rucksack and had several days beard growth.

Officers attended to both reports but there was no trace of him at either location.

Scot is white, of a slim build, 6ft 3in and has short black hair.

He has tattoos on his arms – a Celtic band and skulls on his left arm and Chinese writing and the name Rachel on his right arm.

Anyone who sees Scot should call police on 101 quoting incident 165 of Thursday, September 1.
