TWO cider drinkers from Stroud threw open the doors to their apple press inviting visitors to drop in and watch to see how the beverage is made.
Owners of the award-winning Beard and Sabre Cider Company, Tom Dunn and Angus Sales showed customers how they make cider using traditional methods of apple-pressing.
Visitors to the open day were also given the opportunity to bring their own apples to be crushed and squeezed into juice.
As well as quaffing plenty of cider everyone got the chance to tuck into a hog roast and a great day was had by all despite the heavy rainfall.
The event took place on Saturday, October 1 at Norcote Workshops in Cirencester.
