ENJOY the music of Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits this weekend, courtesy of tribute band Dire Streets.
The group will be performing at the Sub Rooms on Saturday at 8pm.
Their set will include covers of tracks from early classics like Sultans of Swing and Lady Writer, through to the mega-hits of the 80s and Brothers in Arms, taking in all the classic album and live versions from the legendary Alchemy, Live Aid and Mandela concerts.
For Dire Street’s drummer, Dik Chandler, the gig marks his first appearance at the Sub Rooms since 1977.
Back then the Chalford based musician was playing with Stroud band Sequoia.
Tickets cost £14, via the box office (01453 760 900), or £16 on the door.
