NEWPORT Gwent Dragons duo Harri Keddie and Leon Brown have been drafted in to train with the Wales squad ahead of the autumn series.

Back-rower Keddie and tighthead prop Brown join the squad along with Ospreys wing Keelan Giles and Cardiff Blues full-back Rhun Williams.

The four were all members of the Wales squad that won the Under-20s Six Nations Grand Slam last season.

Wales interim head coach Rob Howley has called up the quartet to take part in training with matches against Australia, Argentina, Japan and South Africa to come next month.

They are not part of Howley’s 36-man squad but with injuries in the camp there are suggestions that could change.

Both Keddie and Brown are highly-rated by the Dragons, who have Hallam Amos and Tyler Morgan in the main autumn squad, and now it would seem by the Wales management.

The former made his first start for the region in the loss to Enisei-STM in Russia on Saturday, while he has also impressed at club level, particularly with Ebbw Vale.

Brown, 20 this Wednesday, might not have appeared for his region yet but he has made a big impact for Cross Keys in the Principality Premiership and the Dragons Select XV in the British & Irish Cup.
