CONCERNS have been raised over a rise in reported anti-social behaviour incidents in Stonehouse.

Two boys were reportedly seen smashing glass and removing metal fencing from the football ground in Oldends Lane at around 1.30pm today.

They were seen climbing through a fence and made off towards the youth centre.

At the weekend a bin was set on fire and the area outside the youth centre was damaged.

Around £500 worth of damage was caused.

Gill Jennings, town clerk, urged those responsible to stop immediately.

"There seems to be someone who loves setting fire to litter bins," she said.

"It is a real nuisance and also costs a lot of money to repair.

"We are asking people to be on the look out and report anything suspicious and urge those responsible to stop."
