A MOTORIST has been banned from the road after being caught driving under the influence of drugs.
Bryce Thomas, 23, of Belmont Road, Slad, was stopped by police while driving his Ford Fiesta along Old Bisley Road on October 9.
Thomas, who admitted the offence, was found to have a proportion of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol – 4.7 micrograms per one litre of blood – which exceeded the specified limit.
Cheltenham magistrates fined Thomas £120, ordered him to pay prosecution costs of £85 and banned him from driving for one year on Monday.
