DRIVERS have again been warned to expect further delays on Paganhill Lane in Stroud.

Temporary traffic lights have been set up at the top of the hill by the roundabout to Stratford Road while gas main work take place.

The road works have been causing delays over the past few days. Work is expected to finish this Friday, October 28.

Temporary traffic lights have also been set up on Old Bristol Road in Nailsworth while water main work takes place outside Fairbourne House.

This is affecting traffic both ways on the B4058 near Butcher Hill's Lane. This is also expected to be completed by Friday.

Thrupp Lane in Stroud is also closed both ways due to resurfacing work at A419 London Road.

This began on October 20 and is also due to finish by the end of Friday.

On Friday Highway crews will arrive at Cashes Green Road this Friday October 28 to lay more than 3000 square meters of new tarmac.

The work is planned to be complete by Wednesday November 2.

The road closure will be in place from the junction with Hyett Road to the junction with Westward Road between 9.30am till 3.30pm each day.

Access will be maintained for pedestrians and local businesses will be open as usual.

But Customers of the Co-op foodstore, the Co-op pharmacy, the Factory Outlet Shop and the Co-op nursery will not be able to access the car park during the hours of the road closure and are encouraged to park nearby.
