SELF-TAUGHT artist, Sharon White began her career by combining pet portraiture with motherhood.

To eliminate the potentially chaotic mix of wet pet paintings and small children, Sharon began experimenting with pastels.

Since then her style has developed, through playful experimentation, in both medium and colour.

Today she is best known for her quirky cow images, which can be found in a variety of galleries and homes across the region.

An exhibition of Sharon’s latest works opens at Stroud’s Kendrick Street Gallery on Saturday.

Sharon will be at the venue to discuss her work on Saturday, from 10am-12pm.

The exhibition continues until Saturday, November 26.
