THE trend of cold weather looks set to continue into much of the weekend - however temperatures are unlikely to plummet as low as earlier in the week.

Tonight’s forecast for Stroud Goodwill will be cloudy and cold. There may then be patchy rain in places during the early hours.

It will be less cold than last night so frost is unlikely, with temperatures only dropping to 3°C.

Saturday will get off to a foggy start, feeling chilly at about 3°C during the morning and into the afternoon.

Again, temperatures overnight won’t drop below 0°C – meaning there is little risk of frost or ice.

There is, however, potential for some sunshine on Sunday which looks set to be the better of the two days.

This is likely to occur during the afternoon if it does make an appearance.

Sunshine could mean temperature rise to 10°C – the highest in many days.
