A 24-YEAR-OLD man admitted racially aggravated assault in a supermarket when he appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates Court.
Luke Cordean of Mathews Way, Farmhill, Paganhill, Stroud, pleaded guilty to assaulting Leon Mondy at Waitrose, Honeybourne Way, Cheltenham on November 2.
Cordean was made the subject of a community order and ordered to do 160 hours of unpaid work when he appeared in court on Friday.
He was also ordered to pay compensation of £200 and £85 prosecution costs.
