Thieves somehow stole 10 tonnes of the stone in one night
INDUSTRIOUS thieves stole £15,000 worth of natural stone from a housing renovation site in Ragnal Lane, Nailsworth.
Ten tonnes of the stone disappeared overnight between the evening of Thursday December 1 and morning of Friday 2.
Police believe the thieves must have used a number of transit-type vans of one large lorry to shift the heavy building material from the narrow lane.
Anyone with information is urged to call 101 quoting incident number 46 of December 2.
