TOMMY VAREY of Cirencester Amateur Boxing Club has won a place in the finals of the National Association of Boys and Girls Clubs (NABGC) championships this weekend.
Varey boxed his way to a brilliant win against Kashif Tabib from Northolt ABC over the weekend in Essex.
The Cirencester lad won all three rounds of a highly entertaining bout.
Varey now faces Dan Towers from Birtley ABC at the national finals in Bristol on Sunday.
It should be a great scrap as they are two of the best boys in the country at the 57-60kg weight category.
The club's Ethan Frayling returned to winning ways when beating Kai Draper at his home Torbay ABC show, winning on a unanimous points decision.
