A WOMAN suffered a head injury after her car skidded on ice and overturned.
A blue Ford Galaxy overturned in Horsemarling Lane and ended up in a ditch in the crash at around 8.05am this morning.
A police spokesman said: "A 38-year-old woman had suffered a head injury and was treated by ambulance staff.
"No one else in the vehicle was injured.
"The woman is believed to have skidded on ice and rolled the car."
It is understood that the woman was taken to hospital but this is not confirmed.
The crash and road have now been cleared.
Police have received reports of seven collisions in Gloucestershire this morning, with several caused by the icy conditions.
Motorists are urged to take extra care out on the roads.
