Driver escapes unharmed after van leaves road and crashes down embankment in Painswick
A DRIVER escaped uninjured after his van left the road and careered down an embankment.
The single vehicle crash happened on the B4073 near Painswick, near the golf club, at 2.10pm today.
A police spokesman said: "We attended and located the vehicle, a grey Volkswagen 800 Special van down an embankment.
"No other vehicle was involved and the driver, a man, was unharmed."
The crash has now been cleared.
