A RALLY will be held outside the Sub Rooms in Stroud in response to the inauguration of US President elect Donald Trump on January 20.
Titled Build Bridges Not Walls, the rally will include speeches by Miriam Yagud, of 'Jewish Socialists Group and Community Activist in Dursley, Charlie Avent, author of Following the Hoofprints, and James Prewett, equalities officer at Stroud Constituency Labour Party.
Messages of hope, love, peace, resilience, positivity and vision will be given at the event described as 'a rally of the people and for the people.'
It will be held from 5pm on Friday, January 20 - the day President Trump is inaugurated - organised by The Politics Kitchen, a weekly community-meeting organised by Labour district councillor for Stroud Central, Skeena Rathor.
