A 63-YEAR-OLD female cyclist sustained minor injuries after a collision with a car at the Horse Trough roundabout.
She was involved in a crash with a Vauxhall Vectra just after 2.30pm on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened at the bottom of Bath Road near the busy roundabout by Wycliffe College.
Paramedics said the woman had sustained “minor injuries” and had been treated at the scene.
The male driver of the Vectra was not injured. No arrests have been made.
A spokesman from the South West Ambulance service said she was taken for treatment at Stroud Minor Injuries Unit.
“The woman suffered minor injuries such as cuts and bruises,” he said. “Luckily she was up and about and on her feet quite quickly.”
A police spokeswoman said: “There was a collision between a Vauxhall Vectra and a cyclist.
“The cyclist, a woman, sustained minor injuries. The driver of the Vectra is a man - not injured.”
The B4008 was partially blocked, but traffic was flowing as the road was just passable.
Eyewitnesses said the women had been accompanied by another cyclist.
The road has now been cleared.
