BOY, 17, arrested on suspicion of assault and girl, 15, of theft after a teenager was hospitalised in a Gloucester knife attack.
Both remain in custody for questioning.
The incident occurred around 11pm on Friday, January 20 in Painswick Road near to Eastern Avenue.
There was an altercation between a group of people when the victim, a 17-year-old boy was stabbed in the back.
He was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital where he received treatment, the injury was not life-threatening and the victim has since been discharged from hospital.
His mobile phone was also stolen in the altercation.
A police spokesman said: “We understand an incident of this nature can cause concern for the local community, but this is thought to be an isolated incident with no risk to the wider public.”
Witnesses are urged to come forward, particularly a man driving a Ford Focus who was seen stopping to speak to the victim.
