The fire happened in Coomassie Street, Newport, at Danny's Auto Centre.
Fire crews at the scene confirm that one car was involved and that the cause of the fire is currently unknown.

South Wales Fire and Rescue have confirmed that a fourth fire engine has been requested from the New Inn area.
Our reporter is currently on his way to the scene.

A South Wales Fire and Rescue spokesman confirmed that crews from Malpas, Maindee and Duffryn were called at 4.29pm to the scene.
Firefighters are still in attendance.

FIREFIGHTERS are currently tackling a domestic garage fire in Mill Parade, Newport.
South Wales Fire and Rescue, posting on Twitter, have advised neighbouring houses to close windows.
