A 35-YEAR-OLD Stroud woman has been jailed after she admitted stealing 17 jars of Marmite.
Jessica Pritchard of Mathews Way, Farmhill, Stroud was sent to prison for 10 weeks after Cheltenham magistrate's heard that she was a "persistent offender."
On Friday, January 27 she stole £52.53p of Marmite from the Co-op in Stroud.
She asked for two other offences to be taken into consideration.
Pritchard committed four theft offences while on community orders and on Thursday, February 2 she stole Pokemon boxes from WH Smith in the town.
