PROTESTERS plastered anti-Tory NHS posters across the constituency office of Stroud’s Conservative MP Neil Carmichael.

Four large white posters were stuck across the front windows of building on Bridge Street in Nailsworth overnight.

Written across a tombstone are the words ‘RIP. In loving memory of the NHS, 1948-2017. Skinned Alive By Tory Cuts’.

Below that it says: “Warning. The Government Is Bad For Your Health Service”.

The protesters have also created an image of a black vulture perched atop the Conservative Party logo’s tree.

Mr Carmichael responded saying: “I’m always happy to engage in intelligent debate on the issues – I don’t think offensive name calling helps any argument.”

Unlike previous acts of protest at the constituency office, this will not cost money to take down or clean.

A spokeswoman from the office said the posters had been taken down by a member of staff at 8.30am this morning and put in the bin.

As there was no criminal damage the police were not called.

Last year someone spray-painted POVERTY in massive blue letters across the front of the building, costing hundreds to clean off.
