Fallen trees causing road blockages in Five Valleys
THREE fallen trees in the past hour are causing havoc on roads around the Five Valleys.
The A46 Stroud Road Nailsworth, the A4173 Edge and the A38 Hardwicke are all experiencing blockages and traffic delays.
Turbulent winds of up to 60-70mph have whipped across the county leaving a trail of destruction including broken powerlines.
Earlier today there were reports of fallen trees blocking the Stroud Road near Fagin's Restaurant in Brookthorpe.
Commuters are warned to stay clear of the area and expect heavy delays.
