IT will be a dry start across the Five Valleys with the occasional patch of sunshine bursting through the cloud cover.
This afternoon will see the clouds slowly thicken from the west and showers could arrive in the Stroud District by 4pm.
The maximum temperature will be 8 °C during the day and minimum of 4°C later tonight.
There are early indications of a much brighter day tomorrow.
