A 25-YEAR-OLD woman was more than twice the drink-drive limit when she was stopped by police in Stroud, a court heard.
Stephanie Tilsley, of Langtoft Road, Stroud was driving her Renault Megane Scenic on Friday, February 3 when she was stopped.
Tilsley admitted driving with excess alcohol and without insurance when she appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
She was found to have 79 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 35 micrograms.
Tilsley was banned from driving for 19 months, fined £400 and ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs.
