  • Stonehouse Library. Did you know that every Wednesday at 10.30am the library welcomes toddlers for ‘Bounce & Rhyme’. It really is great fun and it’s never too soon to introduce your babe to the world of books and music.
  • Savvy Seniors – Vue Cinema. Tomorrow, Thursday, March 16 ‘Collateral Beauty’: Retreating from life after a tragedy, a man questions the universe by writing to Love, Time and Death.   • Table Top Sales in the Town Hall organised by Stonehouse in Bloom. This Saturday, March 11 from 10am. Books, preserves, bric-a-brac, cards, toiletries and more. And a delicious pieces of cake and a cuppa at Bloomers Café. Tables can be booked through the Town Hall – first come first served. £5 per table. Call 01453 822070 King’s Stanley Brownies has vacancies. We meet every Tuesday in the Village Hall from 6pm-7.30pm. If you are between 7-10 yrs old why not come along and find out what being a Brownie is all about make some new friends and learn some useful skills.
  • Worried about bank closures in Stonehouse? Then turn to the Post Office, now located in the Co-op. You can still do your day to day banking with the PO – you can make cash withdrawals with your bank card, make balance enquiries, make cash deposits and using a paying in slip make cheque deposits.
  • Cotswold AONB warden led walks. If you fancy a walk this Sunday, March 19 come to Sherston High Street to walk to Shipston Moyne and Westonbirt. five hours – nine miles.   • Keen Photographers wanted. Could you contribute to a new community project – ‘Stonehouse in Pictures? Join in a project to create a photographic record of all aspects of life in Stonehouse throughout 2017.   • Stonehouse Town Council have now revamped their website which gives comprehensive information about its members, meeting dates and times, agendas and minutes of meetings and events in the Town. Visit it at stonehousetowncouncil.com.
  • Bus passes. These can be applied for at Stonehouse Library. They are then posted to applicant.
  • King’s Stanley Parish Council now has a Parish Office in the village hall open every Monday from 9.30am-11am. Please note new opening times.
  • Stonehouse Pensioners Club. Come and meet old friends and make new ones by joining the Stonehouse pensioners club. We meet alternate Wednesdays at the Stonehouse Community Centre at 2pm. All are welcome and for more info, please ring Pam 01453 825150.
