SPRING cleaning volunteers are being sought to help spruce up two red phone boxes in Nailsworth.
On Saturday, April 1 from 2pm people are invited to put some sparkle into the phone boxes in Watledge and Shortwood.
After residents showed an interest in taking them on for community use, the iconic red boxes were bought by Nailsworth Town Council for £1.
Volunteers are welcome to help look after the boxes with ideas such as a lending library, a poetry gallery and a notice board.
