A NEW Italian restaurant in Nailsworth has officially opened its doors to customers after a renovation project.
The new restaurant called Amalfis opened on Monday, March 27 and lies opposite the Village Inn in Market Street.
Mario Selmani, 24, born and raised in Milan and Montenegro, will take over the site currently occupied by Portobellos - which only opened in May last year.
Mario, who has been involved in the catering industry for 10 years, said: "This is my first solo business venture, it'll be something new and authentic.
"It's something new that Nailsworth has been missing, simple but authentic traditional Italian cuisine." Visit the Facebook page here.
