  • Stonehouse Methodist Church will be holding a coffee and cake morning from 10am this Saturday, April 1, in the Douglas Morley Hall with a comedy themed quiz. Cost? £2 to include a hot drink and cake. Everyone welcome – join us for a chat and a cuppa.
  • Stonehouse Library - Did you know that every Wednesday at 10.30am the library welcomes toddlers for ‘Bounce & Rhyme’. It really is great fun and it’s never too soon to introduce your baby to the world of books and music.

  • Table Top Sales in the Town Hall organised by Stonehouse in Bloom. Every Saturday from 10am. Plants, books, preserves, bric-a-brac, cards, toiletries and more.   • King’s Stanley Brownies has vacancies. We meet every Tuesday in the village hall from 6-7.30pm. If you are between 7-10 years old why not come along and find out what being a Brownie is all about make some new friends and learn some useful skills.

  • Cotswold AONB Warden Led Walks. If you fancy a walk this Friday, March 24, come along to Prema Café, Uley, to walk to Cam Peak & Uley Bury. Four hours and six miles.   • Stonehouse Community Choir will be holding their Easter Concert on Monday, April 3, at St Joseph’s Church, Oldends Lane, Stonehouse, at 7.30pm. Wide range of music including songs from Les Miserables. Admission free and all are welcome.
  • Stonehouse British Legion Women’s Sections. We meet on the last Thursday of every month at 1.45pm in the Stonehouse Community Centre. On Thursday, March 30, Tony Osman will be demonstrating the art of glass blowing. The aim of the section is to support the British Legion Welfare Work in caring for service families.   • Stonehouse Town Council Annual Town Meeting and Civic Awards 2017. Do you know someone you would like to nominate for a Civic Award? Categories include: 1 – Person Making an Outstanding Contribution to Stonehouse over a number of years; 2- Stonehouse Business of the Year; 3- Stonehouse Community Group of the Year; 4 – Vicky Wakefield-Heath Young Person of the Year (up to the age of 25).
