ROAD closures and diversions for a major two-week resurfacing project in Eastington have been confirmed by the county council.
Almost the entire length of pothole-ridden Spring Hill from the junction with Bath Road to just short of the roundabout at A419 will be resurfaced.
The council said the road will be closed between 7am and 5.30pm from Monday April 10 till Wednesday April 26.
Work will start at the north end - near the A419 roundabout - and progress southwards toward Eastington Village.
The road will be reopened for the bank holidays and the weekends, except for Sunday 23 April when the Eastington roundabout outside the village shop will be resurfaced.
Access for residents and businesses will be maintained as long as it is safe.
