THE Stroud Micro Dairy is finally ready to sell its fresh milk on the market.

The sustainable, locally produced milk comes from the seven grass-fed cows looked after by the dairy.

The small local enterprise was recently launched at Oakbrook farm, a small vale on Wick Street which was purchased by the Biodynamic Land Trust.

The community-led venture is hoping to transform the way people and businesses in the Five Valleys get their milk, while also practicing regenerative agriculture.

It is one of only a handful of micro dairies in the UK currently.

The milk is now available to buy for Stroud residents who want to get their milk as fresh as possible.

Anyone who is interested to learn more about the dairy can sign up to pay their cows a visit.
