ONE person has been rushed to hospital after a two-car collision at the Cowcombe Hill junction near Aston Down.
The incident occurred at around 5.18pm near the roundabout between Cowcombe Hill/A419 and Cirencester Road.
An Audi and a Ford Fiesta were involved in the accident.
One person sustained a hip injury and was rushed to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
South West Ambulance service attended the scene with two vehicles.
Highways England were contacted by Gloucestershire Constabulary at 6.20pm who were unsure how long it was going to take to clear the road of debris.
They are now on the scene clearing the road of fuel and debris, the road remains closed to allow this to take place.
