FILM and camera crews have been spotted in the High Street in Stroud today.

David Mitchell and Robert Webb are filming their new sitcom 'Back' which is due to premiere on Channel Four later this year.

The team were enjoying filming in the town, with the producer describing Stroud as 'picturesque'.

This is the second time production for the Channel Four programme has occurred in Stroud, with the pilot episode being filmed in April 2016.

Mitchell was seen filming scenes in King Street last year with crews were based at the Cheapside car park and in the cemetery off Highfields Road and Spider Lane.

The Stroud district has been used as a filming location for several TV productions, including Cider With Rosie, Poldark and The Casual Vacancy.
