AFTER much consideration I prefer to view Brexit as liberation from a bureaucratic nightmare and the antics of the SNP only furthers this opinion.

On one hand they demand independence from the UK, while seeking government from Brussels, a lifelong desire of Nicola Sturgeon, and has very little to do with the aspirations of the Scottish people who not so long ago voted to remain as part of the Union, this has prompted me to submit a few lines of rhyme to lighten the debate with a little satire and irony.

From ankle socks to tena pants

queen Sturgeon’s had her frequent rants,

While hanging in her European chains

her many claims for Scottish rule remains

With Albion on a shortened lead,

to France and Germany she would he feed

While Wallace in his grave may turn,

his dish of salmon he does spurn,

and when at last they come to rest,

will past heroes ask, really are they the best?
