STROUD Labour party vice-chairman Debbie Hicks has further apologised for her comments about the Manchester attack potentially being 'wonderful timing for Theresa May'.
She stated that she was wary that the incident could be used for political gain, particularly by the Conservatives' to promote their 'Strong and Stable' slogan.
She said: "My comment this morning about the attack in Manchester was ill-timed and I apologise for any offence caused.
"As I said before and I will say again, all my thoughts are with the families involved in the senseless attack in Manchester."
