THE Stonehouse community rallied together holding a vigil in support of the Manchester terror attack victims on Wednesday evening.
Clare Smith, Caroline Wynn and Stonehouse Community Church pastor Anne Dunne were the driving force behind the event.
Around 140 members of the community attended the vigil which saw prayers spoken, speeches made and the opportunity for people to send their messages to Manchester.
A minute’s silence was taken to remember the fallen, followed by a minute of applause.
“We wanted to do a minute’s applause because it’s all about good triumphing over evil,” said Anne.
“These things draw people together and I’m very proud of the way Stonehouse responded.
