A MAN was taken to hospital on Sunday evening after he was cut free from a crash in Newport after a car hit the barrier along Wharf Road.
Fire crews from Maindee and Malpas were called to the scene at just before 8.35pm on May 28, and left at just before 9.15pm.
A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service added that two people were involved in the crash, but only one person was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital.
