POND dipping sessions, scything lessons and butterfly walks are among the activities available as part of Stroud Nature this summer.
Stroud Nature, which began at the end of May and runs until the end of August is an opportunity for families to learn about the local and regional wildlife.
This year has already seen a special talk by Ian Redmond OBE on the lives of gorillas, elephants and badgers.
The flagship event of the programme is Stroud Festival Of Nature which will take place on Sunday, July 9 at Stratford Park from 11am.
The festival will provide a mix of activities, crafts, workshops, exhibitions and live animal shows including a visit from JJ the Harris Hawk.
Stroud Nature will continue throughout the summer with activities for the whole family.
