RENTS in the UK have stagnated, rising by just 0.1 per cent in May compared to a year ago.
Rents in London fell by 1.5 per cent in May – the seventh consecutive monthly decline, according to the figures from Countrywide.
Its research found that the areas where rents actually increased were the Midlands, the East of England or the South West.
